Biography
Agastya Nanda made his professional acting debut in 2023 in Zoya Akhtar’s musical film The Archies released on Netflix. He plays the iconic titular character Archie Andrews. His performance was noted for his natural charm and his screen persona, setting the stage for himself for the transition to the bigger screen.
On January 1st, 2026, he made his theatrical debut in the high stakes biographical war film Ikkis directed by Sriram Raghavan. He essayed the role of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, India’s youngest Param Vir Chakra recipient. The role required him to prepare himself with intense physical change, hence he underwent three years of training and immersion in military life. The film also marked the final screen appearance of the legendary actor Dharmendra alongside of Agastya Nanda.
His most recent recognition is Agastya Nanda has established himself as a performer driven actor rather than the conventional star-kid material. Agastya was recently honored as the GFA Rising Star of 2026 at the Grazia Fashion Awards.
