Agastya, Amitabh Bachchan’s Grandson To Be Launched In Zoya Akhtars Archies Adaptation With Khushi Kapoor And Suhana Khan

Three star kids will begin their Bollywood journey all at once in one ambitious musical. Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar is all set to bring the world renowned Archies comics to life in a desi avatar. The roles of the three famous characters of Archie, Veronica and Betty will be played by Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya, Boney Kapoor’s daughter Khushi Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan.

Talking about directing this ambitious musical drama Zoya had earlier said, “I am super excited to have the chance to bring The Archies to life. It was a large part of my childhood and teenage years. The characters are iconic and globally loved, which is also why I am a little nervous. I have to make sure the film stokes the nostalgia of a generation that grew up on the comic and yet resonates with the young adults today.” The film will premiere on Netflix.
