Annarth (2002)

Jimmy, played by Sunil Shetty is an underworld crime boss, whose close friend Sameer, has just returned after completing his education. They later meet Jimmy’s younger sister Preeti, played by Preeti Jhangiani. Jimmy introduces Sameer and Bandya to Raghav who gets them into his gang. Meanwhile Sameer and Preeti fall in love and decide to marry. However Bandya is killed on Raghav’s orders but Jimmy thinks it is all Azal from another gang who did it. Later Raghav tells Preeti that he has killed two police officers. Preeti is furious to know this as she thought he was a nice man. It is later revealed that Sameer is in fact an undercover police officer and the other two officers are still alive. Preeti reluctantly believes him. Later Sameer tries to tell Jimmy that Raghav is the real killer of Bandya but he doesn’t believe him. Later Raghav kills Jimmy when Sameer is informing the police about Raghav’s activities. They also attack Preeti trying to find out about Sameer’s true identity. Eventually Raghav gets killed by Sameer. The movie is directed and produced by Ravi Dewan and written by Imtiaz Hussain. The music is composed by Anand Raj Anand.
