Barrister's Wife (1935)

Barrister's Wife is an Emotional-Romantic Musical-Thriller Family melodrama film created with excellence by Chandulal Shah. The Story revolves around the life of two lovers from college times who wanted to marry each other- but their parents oppose them for it- Lily (played by Gohar)- a sweet girl and Vasant (played by E. Bilimoria)- who vows to commit suicide if they are not married- but her father arranged her marriage with a barrister (played by Bawa). However, years later- they meet and things get complicated after an incident and cause circumstances, leading to consequences.
