Basant (1960)

Basant is an Emotional-Romantic Tragedy Thriller Family Drama Film exceptionally crafted by Bibhuti Mitra. The Story revolves around the life of Meenakshi Rai (played by Nutan)- A Sweet and beautiful girl living with her father who fells in love with Rajesh (played by Pran)- A Handsome man and wants to marry him- but her father disagrees. She runs away from home and her life was saved by Ashim (played by Shammi Kapoor)- A Kind-hearted man- who helped her from Police and together they fell in love and wanted to marry each other.
