Daana Paani (2018)

'Daana Paani' takes place in the early days of 1962, when Havildar Mehtaab Singh (Jimmy Sheirgill) is tasked with personally informing the family of a martyred Lance Naik of his battlefield death, and meets an oppressed young country woman named Basant Kaur (Simmi Chahal). The difficulties and tribulations of their unexpected relationship sends each of them along a path in life that has ramifications for themselves, their families, and a once-quaint community fighting to keep up with modern times. Their fates may have conspired to bring them together, but it appears that the actions of others around them will determine how long they can stay together.
