The actor Manchu Manoj is back on screen in a ferocious avatar as the hero of the massive film David Reddy. The movie is a pan-India project that involves the first-time director Hanuma Reddy Yakkanti and has Maria Ryaboshapka as the GF. In addition, there is a great crew comprising of KGF music director Ravi Basrur. Manoj, the one who takes on the titular part, assures that the whole production will be nothing short of a complete "feast" for the audience who have been loyal to him through thick and thin.

The tale is city-based and has a timeline of 1897-1922, covering the pre-Independence period. The character of David Reddy is shown to be a very violent warrior who believes that the only way to set the country free from British rule is by force and not through peaceful means. He challenges not just the British but also any Indian collaborating with the British. The main idea here is the resistance against the atrocious actions of the past, and David Reddy's answer to violence is more violence.

Although the film is envisaged as a genuine pan-India release, the exact date is still not decided. The made-up tale has its roots in somewhat known and forgotten incidents from history. The audience is to be told to get ready for the promotion of a big, bloody action drama that brings one man's ceaseless resistance to cruel tyranny through firearms, with such unforgettable names as his bike "War Dog."
