Synopsis

Raj, played by Akshaye Khanna is a successful lawyer, who has never lost a case. He meets Sargam, played by Urmila Matondkar at a party through a mutual friend named Ashwin. The next day Ashwin is found dead and Sargam’s friend Tarang, played by Ajay Devgn is found at the crime scene. He claims he is not the murderer and even Sargam believes him. Raj feels something is amiss and asks a psychiatrist to study him. She concludes that Tarang has multiple personality disorder, the other personality being of Ranjeet who has killed Ashwin because he tried to molest Sargam at the party. Raj presents his case and proves Tarang’s innocence. Once he is free Tarang’s true colors start to show. Turns out he did all this to avoid going to jail and his plans are much more sinister than all think. Raj orders him to be taken to a mental asylum to receive treatment and keep him away from Sargam. Meanwhile he escapes from the mental facility and seeks Sargam. He impersonates himself as her driver and tries to kidnap her but Raj comes in time and shoots Tarang. The movie is directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Nitin Manmohan. The music is composed by Ismail Darbar.
