Dilbar (1995)

Priya is a beautiful young girl studying in a reputed college. She has a lot of admirers. One day a group of boys start to eve tease and surround her. A fellow collegian Ravi comes to Priya’s rescue and saves her. They both eventually fall in love and decide to get married. She makes Ravi meet her strict police officer brother Shridhar but he doesn’t approve of Ravi and wants Priya to not associate with him. However Priya is rebellious and only wants Ravi as her husband. Shridhar threatens to kill himself if she went ahead with the marriage. Priya is now in a dilemma and agrees to her brother’s demands of marrying a boy named Vishal, the son of wealthy Chandrachur. However when Priya finds out the real reason behind this alliance, things will never be the same again. The movie is directed by B Krishna Rao and produced by N M Ghori. The music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. The star cast includes Rishikesh, Mamta Kulkarni, Nawaz Khan, Suresh Oberoi,Kulbhushan Kharbande, Johny Lever,Kiran Kumar,Tej Sapru,Laxmikant Berde, Rahat Indori, Kiran Kumar, Tanushree, Reema Lagoo, Beena Banerjee and Gauri Khurana.
