Do Bigha Zameen is an Emotional-Romantic Musical-Thriller Family Drama Film crafted with excellence by Bimal Roy. The Story revolves around the life of Shambhu (played by Balraj Sahni)- A Hardoweking and kind farmer living with his wife- Parvati (played by Nirupa Roy) with their child in the village and owns a land- which Thakur Harnam (played by Murad)- An Evil landlord wants for the sake of mill development and wanted his loan amount back. Shambhu gets a time of three months to repay the loan and he travels to Calcutta for the sake of Earning money and drives a rickshaw for money and even his family suffers, leading to consequences.
