Ennu Swantham Punyalan (2025) is a fantasy comedy film from Malayalam cinema. It features Arjun Ashokan, Balu Varghese, Anaswara Rajan and Renji Panicker. The movie is about Father Thomas (a young priest) who is enjoying a peaceful life until Anna (a woman on the run) and Ravi (a small-time thief) arrive at his church looking for a place to stay. As they find themselves in trouble, a conspiracy unfolds, and a bond of trust forms, which sets the stage for second chances.

Father Thomas is a young and somewhat novice priest who is enjoying life at a small church. There's not much going on in Father Thomas' life, until, on a dark and stormy night, two strangers arrive at the church looking for shelter: a distraught young woman named Anna and a streetwise thief named Ravi. Father Thomas' initial annoyance grows, and starts to deteriorate his zen-like state, especially when they bring chaos and disorder into Thomas' already ordered world. Anna is hiding from some dangerous people, and Ravi is escaping from petty theft.

With the arrival of Anna and Ravi, their lives immediately attract the attention of the local police and some shady characters, which leads to a comedy of circumstances, and ultimately, a mutual bond will form between Father Thomas, Anna, and Ravi. As time goes on, Father Thomas begins to realise that they are not so bad after all. Together, they uncover a hidden conspiracy involving land near the church. Using wit, courage, and a bit of divine luck, the trio manages to outsmart the villains. In the end, Father Thomas discovers renewed significance, Anna commences anew and Ravi starts over. The film concludes on a happy note.

Ennu Swantham Punyalan is a charming and fun-filled, yet slightly absurd Malayalam drama fantasy comedy film, which incorporates humour, suspense, and at times, emotional rollercoasters. It charms us with its flippant tone, yet, melds mood-lifting moments with moments which may bring a tear to the eye. The film is full of laughter, enchanting characters, and ultimately, provides a feel-good message about trust and redemption. It is an enjoyable film that will have audiences smiling long after it ends.
