Raju, played by Emraan Hashmi and Rajan, played by Tusshar Kapoor are both good friends studying in the same college. However, they both are different in almost every way. Raju is good in sports but fairs poorly at his studies, while Rajan is a brilliant student but is bad at extracurricular activities. A new principal called Mr.Awasthi, played by Paresh Rawal is appointed in their college. He aims at getting more admissions into his college and improving the overall reputation of his institute. Thus, Mr. Awasthi divides the students based on their ranks.
Raju falls into the C category whereas Rajan falls in the A category. Raju falls in love with a girl who is put into the A section so he pleads with his friend Rajan to swap places with him. A reluctant Rajan moves to the C category. Mr. Awasthi who has his hawks eyes on the students, comes to know of the swapping and decides to teach Rajan and Raju a good lesson. He enlists their name for dance and quiz competition respectively. The real struggle in their life begins now as the geeky one has to dance while the athletic one has to answer tough questions.
The movie is directed by Ashwini Chaudhary and produced by Raju Farooqui and Subhash Ghai. The music is composed by Himesh Reshammiya.
