Sitadevi lives a comfortable life with her husband and sons Rajesh and Rakesh. One day her husband wins a jackpot along with his friends Dhartiraj and Malpani. The two friends however con him and take over his property, killing him. They make the murder look like an accident and later throw the family out of the house. Sitadevi and her two sons take the train to their hometown, that is when it meets with an accident. Rajesh is separated from his mother and brother Rakesh. He is then adopted by a old man and his blind granddaughter. As the years pass by, Rakesh becomes a singer while Rajesh has become a gangster and works for Dhartiraj. The latter’s daughter Jyoti, falls in love with Rakesh but her father wants her to marry Malpani’s son. Soon misunderstandings take place between Rajesh and Dhartiraj and he orders his men to molest his blind sister. Rajesh in a fury abducts Jyoti and keeps her safe in the forest. Later Sita devi comes to know that Rajesh is her long lost son and tells him the whole truth. The two brothers then join forces to end the rein of terror of Dhartiraj and Malpani. The film is directed by K Raghavendra Rao and produced by G Hanumantha Rao and Krishna. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri. The star cast includes Jeetendra, Shatrughan Sinha, Jayaprada, Meenakshi Sheshadri, Kader Khan, Asrani, Shakti Kapoor, Ranjeet, Pran and Purnima.
