Synopsis

I am Roshni directed by Manoj J. Bhatia and Suresh Thomas. Written by Manoj J. Bhatia and Ravi Sagar. Starring Manoj Jaiswal , Ankita Parihar and Yash Rajpara. A family drama which depicts an abuse on girl child, bad parenting, upbringing and a strong bonding and lovestory between a brother and sister. A story of a supportive brother who takes care of his sister who has faced lot of hardships by her family and the society. Though the film is a story on incest it is not a sleazy film and portrays the story in a most emotional and sensitive manner that the director expects the viewers to empathise with the two protagonists A very bold topic on incest on Indian films is something that we are not ready for on a big screen in a society like ours. Our country where even the sex word is a taboo and forbidden, how would this film be accepted and run therefore hasn’t found a slot for its release as yet due to distributors showing lack of interest in the film. The film is produced by Crescendo Music and Films.
