Jimmy (2008)

The police recover the body of a young woman, murdered brutally in cold blood. As the investigation begins one after another clue immerge to point to just one person, and that is Jimmy, played by Mimoh Chakraborty. It shows him to be the killer without much struggle. And the cops themselves are intrigued at how east it was to uncover the killer’s identity. Nevertheless Jimmy is arrested for the woman’s murder and taken into custody. Surprisingly, Jimmy confesses to the crime and is given the death sentence. Everyone including the cops are surprised that a boy like Jimmy who works hard, is honest and dedicated, could commit such a brutal crime without any sensible motive. However, once in jail, Jimmy comes to the realization that he has been framed for something much more sinister than he imagined. His life suddenly turns into a rollercoaster. He is now in a huge dilemma of how to get out of this mess alive. The movie is directed by Raj. N. Sippy and produced by Nawman Malik and Salman Malik. The music is composed by Anand Raj Anand and Bappa Lahiri. The cinematography is by S. Pappu and the story is written by Mahima Kaushal.
