Amar, played by Himanshu Malik, comes from a wealthy and influential family. He is arrogant and stubborn and will do anything that his heart feels is right. He meets a beautiful and straightforward girl called Lekha, played by Mallika Sherawat, in a shop and feels attracted to her. She however comes from a poor background but is very confident and kind. They study in the same college and thus become friends. Soon the two fall in love. After the exams, Amar proposes marriage to Lekha and she agrees. Her father is happy with the alliance but Amar’s father is not. He wants his son to complete his studies and then get married.
Being stubborn and a rebel, Amar leaves his father’s house to be with Lekha and marries her. The two begin their blissful life in love and passion. However their happiness is short-lived as Lekha soon gets unwell and on investigation is found to have leukemia. Their world comes crashing down. But they both try to keep each other happy through these bad times.
The movie is directed by Govind Menon and produced by Vivek Nayak. The music is composed by Milind Chitragupt and D Imman.
