Synopsis

Get Ready for a Gutsy Adrenaline Rush as Nikhil Bhat brings to the floor an action-thriller, Kill. Open to a lot of excellent reviews at the Toronto Film Festival 2023 and Sitges Film Festival—this film has been touted as a throwback to 'The Raid'-esque with incessant action aboard a moving train. It stars Lakshya, Tanya Maniktala, and Raghav Juyal. Kill centers around the life of army commando Amrit, enacted by Lakshya, who boards a New Delhi-bound train to prevent the arranged marriage of his true love, Tulika, played by Tanya Maniktala. Matters take a deadly turn as the journey progresses when a gang of knife-wielding thieves, led by ruthless Fani, enacted by Raghav Juyal, hijacks the train and starts terrorizing the passengers. As chaos breaks out, the claustrophobic train compartments are turned into a killing field by Amrit as he engages these invading hoodlums in rounds of intense and bloody fights for the protection of innocents on board and to fell their plans. Helmed by Nikhil Bhat, whose documentary Saluun and feature films Long Live Brij Mohan and Hurdang have been universally acclaimed, Kill is an adrenaline-pumping spectacle that is going to present the next evolution of action cinema. With a screenplay also by Bhat, and dialogues by Ayesha Syed, the film is produced by Achin Jain, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Guneet Monga under Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment. Kill is set to hit theaters in select US theaters starting July 5, 2024.
