Synopsis

Five friends, which include Rajeev, played by Dino Morea, Jai, played by Sameer Dattani, Ishita, played by Anjori Alagh, Monica, played by Nauheed Cyrusi and Manish, played by Aftab Shivdasani graduate from college and now begin their life’s journey as responsible adults. However one night they decide to have some fun and get drunk and thus get caught by the cops and are jailed. While in jail they all discuss who will be the most successful and happy in the next 5 years. Rajeev’s younger brother Sanjeev is a business tycoon and he aspires to start his own some day. Jai’s father was a bank chairman and he wishes to be a powerful politician. He however becomes conniving and doesn’t help a opposition leader when he’s having a heart attack. This deeply affects him and he goes to a psychiatrist for help. She tells him to ask for forgives from the leader’s wife to get closure. Ishita writes for a gossip magazine and decides to do something exciting to make the magazine popular. She thus traps a wealthy businessman and clicks photos with him and it is printed in the papers. His wife divorces him on seeing the pics and Ishita marries him. But she realizes that he will never be faithful to her and leaves him too. Monica is a struggling Bollywood actress and has a boyfriend Mohit. She however has an affair with an actor named Rohit. On seeing them sleep together, Mohit commits sucide. Guilt and resentment takes over and Monica announces to the public that she is solely responsible for Mohit’s death. Manish is a successful writer and happily married. He writes a novel called ‘Life Mein Kabhi Kabhi’, and it is the story of his five friends. The movie is directed by Vikram Bhatt and produced by Ajay Acharya and Gordhan Tanwani. The music is composed by Lalit Pandit.
