A rural area has been ruled by Naag Raaj and Shyam Kumar.
Together they have wrecked havoc in the life of the people in
the small community. When a military officer named Subhash
comes to visit his mother and sister, he is shocked by their
plight and the fear they and the rest of the community has. He
decides to do something about it. Soon Naag Raaj and Shyam
come to know of this and send a hitman named Mahaguru to
deal with Subhash. The former beats up the latter severely,
leaving him crippled. Later one day when some men were
molesting Mahaguru’s sister, Subhash comes to her aid. This
changes things between Subhash and Mahaguru.
Meanwhile a village belle Basanti, decides to reform Mahaguru
And they both fall in love. Things begin to alter in Mahaguru’s
behavior. Meanwhile Naag Raaj and Shyam are furious at this
and kidnap Subhash. Mahaguru is now instructed to eliminate
him for good but will he take the bait? The film is directed by S
S Ravichandra and produced by U S N Babu, and K C N
Chandrashekhar. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri. The
star cast includes Rajnikanth, Rakesh Roshan, Meenakshi
Sheshadri, Shafi Inamder and Gulshan Grover.
