Mere Apne is an Emotional-Romantic Family Drama Film crafted with excellence and written by Gulzar. The Story revolves around the life of Anandi Devi (played by Meena Kumari)- A Kind-Hearted aged Woman living in a Small house in Village meets with a Stranger- Arun- Claiming her as his relative and brought her to his home in the city. However, she later realizes that- her for taking care of his house as a maid, and she left his home without knowing the truth that he is not a relative. She lived in the road and homeless but helped Youth studying in the college.
