Professor Jay Vermais a well-known and respected professor of his college. His life turns upside down with a crumbling marriage and a failing career. This puts immense pressure on Jay and he is unable to think logically. However things change when a student named Ronnie, comes to him for help on an important thesis. Jay helps him out but asks for a favor in return. Ronnie reluctantly agrees but this has deep repercussions on the entire situation. Things begin to spiral out of control and soon Jay starts to question his own rationality.
