Mulzim (1988)

Vijay Kumar is a compassionate and kind man living in a small village. He sees the suffering and lack of facilities the villagers have and decides to build a hospital for them with the help of young doctor Rekha who he loves. Rekha suggests that he take permission from the District collector about building on a large vacant land in the village. He thus gets the necessary permission. However the zamindar Ranjit has his own ideas of building a cinema on the same piece of land for his lover Sheela. When he comes to know of Vijay’s plan to take a back seat and starts to plan revenge. Just when Vijay and Rekha lay the foundation stone for the hospital, the police arrests Vijay for the murder of Sheela. The film is directed by K S R Dass and produced by G Hanumantha Rao. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri. The star cast includes Jeetendra, Shatrughan Sinha, Hema Malini, Amrita Singh, Ranjeet, Suresh Oberoi, Kimi, Kiran Juneja, Kader Khan and Guddu.
