Nanu Ki Jaanu is a horror comedy film directed by Faraz Haider starring Abhay Deol and Patralekha. The film released on 20th April 2018 is a remake of the Tamil .
Anand is a land mafia agent with his gang operating in Delhi with four others who scares the property owners and aquires their property by might and illegally. While he is on his way to do another illegal deal, he stops to see an accident and sees a girl in a pool of blood but breathing. Nanu leaves aside his work and rushes her to the hospital . Nanu a hard core villain is unable to concentrate on his work since then and his friends make fun of his weird behavior. The girl Siddhi dies and Nanu is disturbed by her death. The film takes a weird twist with the horror as Siddhi turns into a ghost and resides in Nanu’s residence . She troubles Nanu and his friends while her father who loves her immensely refuses to let go of her body and stores it inside a refrigerator which is a gory scene in the film After series of uncalled for events, Anand confesses that he had hit Siddhi from behind and asks her father to kill him and the film takes you by shock when Siddhi who is supposed to be dead breaks out of the freezer and tells every one that Anand is a nice boy and should be spared.
