Paa (2009)

This movie is directed by R. Balakrishna (R. Balki) produced by Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Sunil Manchanda, Mahesh Ramanathan. Released on 4th of December ,2009. A brilliant performance by Amitabh Bachchan in the amazing role as Auro. The story is about Auro (Amitabh Bachchan) who has a genetic disease called Progeria. He is 12 years old, looks normal but physically look five times older. Auro is a happy boy who loves his mom. His mom Dr. Vidya (Vidya Balan) is a gynaecologist. Amol Atre (Abhishek Bachchan) is a young, cold blooded politician, is with a mission and father of Auro and used to be Dr Vidya’s boyfriend. At Auro’s school, Amol is invited as a chief guest, happens to meet Auro who wins the science competition. He is seen by the media and next day is questioned, gets very upset so sends an email to Amol wanting to meet him and goes to Delhi. Amol comes to meet Auro , tells him how he cannot forgive his father for not accepting him.On his 13th birthday he is admitted to the hospital as his health is critical. Such patients do not have a long life . Auro knows he is going to die and before he dies he wants his parents to be united. In the end Auro gets Dr. Vidya & Amol together , asking them to perform their wedding rituals in front of him as he is dying , calls them Paa & Maa.
