Pyar Ki Kahani (1971)

This movie is directed by Ravikant Nagaich, produced by Doondi, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Tanuja, Anil Dhawan, Farida Jalal. Released on the 14th of May 1971. It is the remake of the Tamil film ‘Kai Koduttha Dheivam’. Ram Chand (Amitabh Bachchan) is a well-qualified man but cannot get a job so works as a peon in an organization. He comes across Ravi Chandra (Anil Dhawan) who is about to commit suicide and saves him, counsels him and Ravi Chandra gets him a job as a manager in the same office as him. Ravi falls in love with a co-worker Lata (Farida Jalal) and get married. Ram’s parents want him to settle down too and goes to meet Kusum Sharma (Tanuja). He sends her picture to Ravi and Lata and he does not approve of her. Ram comes to know the reason that Kusum and Ravi were in a relationship before. Ram must decide his future.
