Ranbir Singh is a tough and diligent police officer who is successful in nabbing the notorious criminal Teja and puts him behind bars. Teja unfortunately manages to break the jail cell and escape. As revenge, he kills Ranbir’s son Munna. The officer is devastated and decides to put an end to Teja’s rein. His colleague and friend Rajinder Singh comes to console him and comes to know about Teja. They both now join forces
against the evil Teja and call themselves Raja and Rana. The two cops go undercover and pretend to be goons. They play their role so convincingly that they are even arrested but have no clue where Teja is. The film is directed by Shibu Mitra and produced by S K Kapoor. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri. The star cast includes Ashok Kumar, Pran, Puneet Issar, Aaloka Soundh, Ajit, Shakti Kapoor, Madan Puri, Chandrashekhar, Rajen Haksar Chand Usmani, Om Prakash and Madhu Malhotra.
