Vinay Kumar is a millionaire who has held an exhibition for his friends and outsiders. He also gains permission from the British government to exhibit the precious Kohinoor diamond, on the security of hi sown jewels worth Rs 500 billion, amidst tight security. Things take an ugly turn when the Kohinoor, in spite of such rigorous security goes missing and also Vinay’s won jewels that were kept as security too go missing. However Vinay becomes the prime suspect.
Meanwhile a police inspector who was the last to handle the diamond also becomes a prime suspect, so does the CM, who kept the diamond in the safe. With everyone becoming a suspect, no one knows who the real diamond stealer is. The movie is directed by Ashok Tyagi and produced by T P Agarwal. The music is composed by Jatin Lalit and the lyrics are written by Mehboob and Anand Bakshi. The screenplay and dialogues are written by Ranbir Pushp. The star cast includes Ashok Kumar, Dev Anand, Dharmendra, Jackie Shroff, Shilpa Shirodkar, Anu Agarwal, Prem Chopra, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Surinder Pal, Anil Nagrath, Sunil Dhawan, SameerKhakhar, Ravi Baswani, Arun Bali and Madhoo.
