Thodasa Roomani Ho Jaayen (1990)

A simple girl lacks confidence and self esteem. She has a very negative perspective of the world. Soon people around her start noticing that she is not very cheerful. People including her brother and father advice her to change her ways. Then one day a magician who can make rain fall from the sky comes into her life and asks her to believe in herself. She starts to take his advice seriously and soon she begins to change. The film is inspired from the Hollywood film The Rainmaker. The film is directed by Amol Palekar and produced by Doordarshan. The music is composed by Bhaskar Chandavarkar. The screenplay and dialogues are written by Chitra Palekar. The star cats includes Nana Patekar,Vikram Gokhale and Anita Kanwar.
