Uphaar (1971)

Uphaar is an Emotional-Romantic Family Drama Film exceptionally crafted by Sudhendu Roy. The Story revolves around the life of Anoop (played by Swarup Dutta)- A Lawyer living with his mother (played by Kamini Kaushal) in a house and returned from Calcutta after his Graduation. His mother arranged his marriage with a Beautiful girl- Vidya- but on the way to her house, he meets Minoo (played by Jaya Bachchan)- A Childish girl, and fell in love with her. However, he convinces his mother to marry her and she finally agrees. But things get complicated- When they start noy=ticing her childish behavior of Stealing fruits and playing with young children, leading to consequences.
