This film is directed by Ravi Chopra, produced by B.R. Chopra, released on the 21st of March 1975, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna (special Appearance), Saira Banu, Shammi Kapoor, Madan Puri, Indrani Mukherjee.
It is a remake of the 1960 film Bombai Ka Babu which was a copy of the 1950 film Branded, a hit movie. Thakur Maharaj Singh lives with his wife Rukmini (Indrani Mukherjee) and son Chimpoo in a palatial house, who is a proud owner of may horses. There is an attack on his farmhouse in order to steal horses by Daku maan Singh (Madan Puri) and the Maharaj fights with him and in the bargain the daku” s son dies, he wants to take revenge, promises to kidnap his son Chimpoo. After a few years their servant brings back Badal, saying that he is chimpoo, Rukmini and Sunita (Saira Banu) is the daughter of the Maharaj, are very happy. Meanwhile Sunita and Badal (Amitabh Bachchan) fall in love with each other. Badal confesses to the Maharaj one day that he is not Chimpoo but a convict and was asked to do so on their servant Ram Singh’s request.
In comes Suraj (Vinod Khanna) and the Maharaj knows the truth. All is well that ends well.
