Bollywood fans are gearing up to finally watch the most awaited sports film 83 in theaters. The film will tell the story of India’s iconic victory in the 1983 cricket match to bring home the World Cup. The film stars Ranveer Singh in the lead who will essay the role of then cricket captain Kapil Dev. Interestingly, the latter will make a cameo in the film too! In one scene, where the Padmaavat actor hits a six, Dev catches it across the boundary line. It will definitely be a great cameo and not just a blink and miss one. 

Reportedly, former cricketer, Mohinder Amarnath is also doing a cameo in 83. He will play his own father! Yes you heard that right. He will be playing the role of Lala Amarnath. Mohinder’s role is played by actor Saqib Saleem. Actress Deepika Padukone also has a cameo in the film playing the role of Romi Dev. 83 also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Jatin Sarna, Chirag Patil, Dinker Sharma, Nishant Dahiya, and Harrdy Sandhu. The film releases today.
