Aamir Khan And Kiran Rao Work Towards Water Conservation

The Dangal actor and his wife have championed for a good cause to help Maharashtra become drought free. The recent water problems in the city have engaged the stars in taking the initiative of helping the farmers resolve the drought problem. They have released a 45 minute episode called ‘Toofan Aalaya, 2019’ where they discuss water issues.

 

In the opening episode, Aamir says, ““Three years ago we made a small start. The dream was that if people came together and work unitedly, Maharashtra would become drought-free one day. Paani Foundation was founded. Water Cup competition was started. Villagers began striving to make their village’s water abundant through voluntary labour,”

 

The Thugs of Hindostan actor shared the announcement of his video on Twitter. The episodes will also air on Zee Marathi at 9:30 pm every Saturday.
