Usha a 22-year-old college girl from Bombay played by Sara Ali Khan is a protagonist of Ae Watan Mere Watan. The storyline follows her inspiring fight to free the nation from British Conquer. She fights for the nation without caring about her own life. Her fight is different from other freedom fighters. She utilizes her voice by communicating to the nation via an underground radio station. Her presence in India's freedom fight is very crucial.
