Sparsh Shrivastava Career

Sparsh was known for his role in the soap opera Balika Vadhu between 2015-2016 ,for which he got an early recognition. Since then he has starred in Netflix Crime Drama Web Series like Jamtara and Sabka Number Ayega in 2020. But he has got instant fame for the more recent comedy drama film Laapataa. Sparsh will soon be seen in the upcoming Amazon Prime Video film Duphaiya a new web series which is set in a crime free village. Sparsh will be essaying his role alongside of Bhuvan Arora and veteran actor Gajral Rao which is slated for its release on March 7th 2025. Similar to the lines of Laapataa Ladies, Dupahiya is set in the village of Dhadakpur in Bihar and will be on OTT platform.

Before his film Laapataa by Aamir Khan Production garnered lot of attention and popularity for his portrayal, the actor had struggled his way to carve a path for himself in the film industry.

Shrivastava had pursued passion for dance and had won at the Chak Dhoom Dhoom reality show in 2010. Sparsh was just 11 years old when he came to Mumbai to participate in the dance show. He also participated in dance show called Shake it up Mumbai.

Sparsh besides his role as Kundan in Balika Vadhu was also in the Fear Files and Maharaja Ranjit Singh. Though the actor had got many small roles in films and television serials, he hadn’t got any lead role and was to return to Agra his home town. In 2020 , his life changed when he got offer for the web series Jamtara – Sabka Number Ayega wherein he essays the role of Sunny and he got recognized. Aamir Khan was all praise for his role in season 2 and had approached him for the audition for the role in Laapataa Ladies and was selected. He essayed the role of the young bride groom Deepak and he fitted in the role perfectly as he had learnt the nuances of the small town. His acting skills not only shocked Aamir Khan but also he got applauded for his performance.

Before Laapataa Ladies, Sparsh Shrivastava has been a part of 2020, Natkhat, 2021 Collar Bomb, and in 2024, he acted in the film Ae Watan Mere Watan. He has been in the industry since 2019 his first stint was with the television serial Black Coffee.
