Ajay Devgn And Son Yug Attend Special Screening Of Kajol’s Horror Film Maa

After years of romantic dramas and family comedies, Bollywood power couple Kajol and Ajay Devgn have made a vibrant new addition to the horror genre with Maa, and their 14‑year‑old son, Yug, got in on the horrifically good family fun at a recent special screening. Devgn, his son, who regularly protects his father's privacy, was seen accompanying his famous dad in a rare and poignant family appearance.

Kajol has been very open about her children’s uncomfortable reactions to their mother’s films, admitting that Yug and her older daughter Nysa are uncomfortable watching their mom when she is in very intense sequences. Yug’s presence at the screening is a clear show of familial strength and exciting support for mom’s bold new adventure. Produced by Ajay Devgn, in partnership with Jio Studios and Panorama, Maa is a prequel to the 2024 supernatural blockbuster Shaitaan. Directed by Vishal Furia, the mythological horror drama features Kajol as a ferocious mother, taking on evil spirits to save her child. The filmmakers are set to release the movie in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Bengali on June 27, 2025.

 Kajol has further explained that neither Ajay Devgn nor R.Madhavan will make special appearances in the film, and the director teased that a sequel might be possible.
