Ajay Devgn unveils the first poster of ‘Maidaan’

After enjoying accolades and appreciation for his last release ‘De De Pyaar De’ opposite Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh, Ajay Devgn is all set to gear up for his next titled ‘Maidaan’. The actor took to his social media account to share the first look of his latest film, for which the caption reads, “The Golden Era Of Indian Football 1952-1962”. The film as is evident, will be based on football in India.

 

Maidaan is directed by Amit Sharma and Ajay Devgn will be playing the role of Syed Abdul Rahim, Indian Football coach and manager. Syed is known to be the architecture of modern Indian football. The film will be produced by Akash Chawla, Boney Kapoor and Arunava Joy Sengupta. The film, which commenced its shoot today, also stars Keerthy Suresh and will hit the big screens in 2020.
