Almost all the films of actor Akshay Kumar in the year 2022 failed to show anything special at the box office. However, the actor still has several big films lined up with which Akshay is trying to create magic once again. The list also includes the film Selfie, which was announced by Akshay at the beginning of the year. Now he has shared another update. Akshay Kumar has unveiled the release date of the film by sharing his look from the 'selfiee' on his official Instagram account. Akshay is currently shooting for the song of the film, which is expected to release soon as the actor shared his picture from the shooting set.

In the shared picture, Akshay Kumar is seen in a very colorful avatar. Shirtless with track pants, Akshay carries a colorful fur jacket on top and is seen sitting on top of the car. In the caption of the post, Akshay revealed the release date of the film and said that Selfie is releasing in the year 2023 on February 24. Sharing his look from the upcoming song of the film, the actor said,"My mantra for today - Garmi, humidity and faux fur...sab chalega. Bas kaam kar, kaam kar...shooting new song for Selfie. See you in cinemas on 24th February."

Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi starrer Selfie is the Hindi remake of South's film 'Driving License'. Prithviraj and Suraj Venjaramoodu were seen in the lead roles in the original film. The first look of the selfie was shared earlier this year. The film also stars Nushrratt Bharuccha and Diana Penty in pivotal roles.
