Akshaye Khanna Walks Out Of The Project Drishyam 3

Just few days after its release, Drishyam 3 was announced for its release on October 2026. Akshaye Khanna has reportedly walked out of the project.

Sources suggest the exit is due to the remuneration issues and the differences the makers had with the actor. After the massive success of Dhurandhar where Akshaye Khanna has reportedly a significant role wherein revamped his look for the character. He garnered praise for his role as Rahman Dacoit in the film Dhurandhar. However, he stepped away from Drishyam 3 reportedly causing a heartbreak for his fans who were anticipating to see him in the next romcom.

Everyone who has watched Dhurandhar has Akshaye Khanna’s name on their lips for his impressive and fierce portrayal of Rahman Dacoit in the film which has won the hearts of the audience. While Akshaye Khanna is celebrating the success, a piece of news that has been floating is that his fans are extremely disappointed with new Drishyam series.

The release date was announced and was set to hit the box office next year in October 2025. However, now according to the media reports, Akshaye Khanna has parted ways with Ajay Devgn’s much awaited film Drishyam 3 due to some issues that have arisen between the makers and Akshaye Khanna.

Due to phenomenal success of the film Dhurandhar and Akshaye Khanna’s brand value risen after the success. He demanded a significant increase in fee for the film Drishyam 3. Not just the fee increase, he demanded to have a significant change for his character in the film. He desired his appearance to be distinctly different and that it has to create an impact. Getting used to being in the limelight now after Dhurandhar, that his looks and the character he played proved extremely lucky for him, he could not reach on to an agreement between him and the makers of Drishyam 3 hence he walked out and news sources says Khanna will not be a part of the Drishyam series.
