Alia Bhatt Recommends Vijay Varma For ‘Darlings’

With her debut production Darlings creating a buzz, Alia Bhatt is leaving no stone unturned to make sure everything is nearly perfect. Thus the actress had one actor’s name in mind the whole time to star in her Film. It is non other than talented actor Vijay Varma. The duo had worked together in the Ranveer Singh starrer Gully Boy and he made a lasting impression on the actress with his brilliant performance. She thus brought him on board and all the rest fell in place. 

 

Alia and Vijay will be paired opposite each other for the first time in Darlings. The film is a dark comedy and is directed by debutant director Jasmeet K Reen and produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment and Bhatt’s Eternal Sunshine Productions. The film also stars Shefali Shah and Roshan Mathew.
