Amitabh Bachchan Orders Ventilators And Oxygen Concentrators For Covid Crisis

After Sonu Sood, Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan is doing his best to help during the tragic covid situation in India. The veteran has gone ahead and ordered 50 oxygen concentrators from Poland. In a message the Badla actor thanked the government of Poland, the Mayor of the City of Wroclaw, the Ambassador of India at Warsaw and the LOT Polish Airlines for their assistance in his order of 50 oxygen concentrators. The veteran was also offered a portable O2 concentrator for his personal use by the Indian Consul in Wroclaw but he refused, thinking it better to be donated to the ones in need right now. 

 

Big B spoke about a Polish manufacturing unit that was making oxygen concentrators saying, “I immediately placed an order for 50 Oxygen Concentrators, which were blocked for me by him, since the equipment was in short supply and was being manufactured and sold out rather rapidly.” He has also ordered 20 ventilators to be given to the BMC and various municipal hospitals by May end. On the work front, Big B will be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra and later in Chehre starring Emraan Hashmi.
