Anees Bazmee Comes On Board To Direct 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa' Sequel

After becoming an expert with slapstick and family comedies like Ready, Welcome Back, Mubarakan, No problem etc , this is the first time director Anees Bazmee will be foraying into the genre of horror comedy. As reported earlier, the film will be a sequel to the 2007 Akshay Kumar hit Bhool Bhulaiyaa and will star Luka Chuppi actor Kartik Aaryan in the lead.

 

The whole idea of following in the footsteps of successful horror-comedies like Stree and Golmaal Again was of producer Bhushan Kumar who wants to make Bhool Bhulaiyaa a franchise. Director Anees Bazmee recently wrapped up his Anil Kapoor and John Abraham starrer Pagalpanti and will be giving full attention to this sequel. The film like the previous one will have a huge ensemble cast. Kartik Aaryan will be next seen in Pati Patni Aur Woh opposite Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar and later will work on Dostana 2 opposite Janhvi Kapoor.
