After the massive success of Animal in 2023, the fans have been eagerly awaiting its sequel Animal Park. Ranbir Kapoor finally shared the update on the much-anticipated sequel that the sequel will go on floors only in 2027. Ranbir Kapoor also added that the Animal franchise will run in three parts, the trilogy with Animal, Animal Park which will be the second instalment will have a larger vision for the third part and Vanga Reddy has already outlined the full script. 

Ranbir Kapoor to play double role 

Adding to the much-anticipated film, the sequel to Animal, Ranbir Kapoor will be playing double role.  He will be seen as both, the hero and the villain.  The actor is super excited about this thrilling project. 

The delay to release the sequel is largely due to Ranbir Kapoor having a packed scheduled next few month.  He is also currently working on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War which is scheduled for its release in June 2026, alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.  He will also be seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana: Part One in which he steps into the role of Lord Ram.

Ranbir Kapoor confirmed personally the time line of 2027 for the much-awaited sequel, Animal Park hence the fans have now to brace themselves and wait for long until the explosive sequel unfolds to a new chapter.
