The YouTube web series 'Aspirants’ has been one of the popular ones in recent times with two successful seasons. Actor Abhilash Thapliyal who essays the role of Shwet in the show has now bagged a Bollywood film. He will be seen in the soon to be released Akshay Kumar starrer Raksha Bandhan. The film will mark his official entry into Bollywood. 

Fans were quick to spot the super talented Abhilash in the trailer of Raksha Bandhan with actress Bhumi Pednekar and sent him their congratulatory messages for it. One netizen wrote, “Congratulations for Raksha Bandhan movie, Waiting for it.” The film also stars Sahejmeen Kaur, Deepika Khanna, Sadia Khateeb, Smrithi Srikanth and Seema Pahwa. It will hit the big screens on 11th August 2022 clashing with Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha.
