Ayan Mukerji Welcomes Us Into The World Of Astraverse In A New Video Of Brahmastra

Bollywood filmmaker Ayan Mukerji’s upcoming modern mythological drama Brahmastra just got a lot more interesting. Lead actress Alia Bhatt shared an insightful video today on the occasion of Guru Purnima about the concept of the film and how different ‘Astras’ are deeply connected with our ancient history and are relevant even today. Sharing the video she captioned it, “The vision of Brahmastra. Releasing on 09.09.2022.”

Sharing the same video on his Instagram page director Ayan Mukerji wrote, “While Brahmāstra is a work of fiction, my attempt has been to celebrate Indian spirituality, in my own way, through this movie. On this very auspicious day of Guru Purnima, I wanted to share a little more in depth about the the concept of Brahmāstra – a movie through which I personally found myself transforming into a forever-student of the infinite wisdom that exists in our ancient Indian roots… Hope you guys enjoy our imagination!”

Brahmastra Part One: Shiva also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy among others. It will release on 9th September 2022 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
