While the Sunny Singh starrer Ujda Chaman released its trailer last week, the Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Bala released its trailer yesterday. Even though the concepts of both film’s are similar there is a difference. However, the former’s director Abhishek Pathak has stated that the latter has lot of resemblances to his film. Baladirector Amar Kaushik has gone ahead and announced his film’s release a day before Ujda Chaman, leaving them furious. 

Abhishek has stated that he is planning to slap a legal notice on Bala makers for copyright violation. He said that he bought the rights of the Kannada film ‘Ondu Motteya Kathe’ and decided to make it and release it within a year as opposed to Bala makers, who have been constantly shifting their release date from 22nd November to 15th to now 7th of November. This is bound to damage the business of both movies. Bala also stars Bhumi Pednekar and Yami Gautam, while Ujda Chaman stars Karishma Sharma and Aishwarya Sakhuja.
