In a dramatic controversial grand finale, Bigg Boss Marathi Season 6 wrapped up abruptly left fans disappointed for ending the season with a rush amid the chaos.   Raqesh Bapat fell short of victory at the finishing line as runner up while Tanvi Kolte the stronger contender won after a strategic journey.

Despite the show was consistent with the game play through the season hosted by actor Riteish Deshmukh, Raqesh couldn’t hold on long for the trophy marking his third unsuccessful attempt in the Bigg Boss Marathi franchise.  He faced a tough competition with the finalist Vishal Kotian with whom he had shared rivalry dating back in the Bigg Boss 15 hosted by Salman Khan and eventually won by Tejasswi Prakash

Raqesh Bapat’s journey in Big Boss season 1 on OTT hosted by Karan Johar where his bond with Shamita Shetty had become a major highlight. However, was the season coming to end without his win, Shamita had finished as the second runner up and Bapat trailing behind.

Makers have delivered an unsatisfying conclusion to the Marathi Bigg Boss Season 6

His stint in Bigg Boss 15 was short lived as he exited early despite high expectations from him due to him being paired with Shamita.   Now in the Marathi Bigg Boss 6, he has once again come closest yet again the trophy remained out of his reach and won by Tanvi Kolte.

The grand finale sparked backlash online due to the abrupt and heavy editing and cutting short the important milestones and emotional closures. Viewers have criticised the makers for the unsettled conclusion to an otherwise an interesting and engaging season that the viewers were anticipating lot of suspense but it was abruptly ended much to their disappointment.

It was Tanvi Kolte’s sharp strategy with the strong audience connectivity that ultimately got her secured in the first place as the winner. The victory was against a well earned and composed game plan by Raqesh that he just had another near-miss which left the fans wondering.

Will the fourth time finally be his victory? One has to wait and watch.
