Dharmendra’s younger son Bobby Deol who had begun his career in acting about 30 years ago. The actor had faced failure which had turned him into an alcoholic. Bobby Deol had openly recently spoken about the alcohol addiction which led him to saying it’s even more addictive than drugs.

The actor went on to say that giving up alcohol has really helped him. He expressed every one is genetically different and the kind of intoxication the alcohol does works differently with each or has a different effect on each of us. He also said some have the genes where you get addicted easily to things. The Animal actor said he felt God had given him another chance and a new lease of life and he wanted to give his best shot. He said one does not always get such chances in life so he wanted to make the most of it and not lose this opportunity.

Bobby Deol stated the calling to make himself a better person came from a voice within and he wanted to stop drinking and he has improved his relationship with everyone he knows.

This next release is the YRF Spy Universe. The actor will also be seen in an upcoming Tamil political action thriller with Thalapathy Vijay in ‘Jana Nayagan’.

For Bobby Deol things began to look up with the onset of OTT, and Lord Bobby soared high with his Class of 83 and Aashram in 2020 before he won the hearts of millions starring opposite the main lead Ranbir Kapoor in the film Animal released in 2023. Meanwhile the actor had overcome his battle with alcohol addiction in his personal life before he did perform in Aryan Khan’s directorial debut in Ba***ds of Bollywood which kind of gave him a new lease, a new opening and saw his comeback.
