Actor Paresh Rawal who has confirmed the exit of Govinda from the Bhagam Bhag 2 project, the sequel of the film with the same name, is not aware of the reason for Govinda being replaced by Manoj Bajpayee. 

Fans have expressed their disappointed over Govinda’s exit, but Paresh Rawal had confirmed he would be playing double role in the film.

Manoj Bajpayee will be one of the leads alongside of Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal.  Govinda and Akshay Kumar had a comic chemistry together that had left the audience in splits with them together on the screen. However, with Manoj Bajpayee with Akshay Kumar, fans can see a difference with this unique combination for the first time. 

Govinda’s exit from the film and the reasons behind it is unknown. However, as Paresh Rawal stated, they would certainly miss him and that he is excited about his double role in the film. 

Bhagam Bhag 2006 Release 

Bhagam Bhag was one of the most popular comedy films directed by Priyadarshan known for his slapstick comedy. Starring in the earlier version was Akshay Kumar, Govinda and Paresh Rawal. The film had chaotic journey with the three caught up in series of crime while they travel abroad. !!  With the mistaken identities, the film with its witty dialogues became a cult favourite with the audience.  

Many fans have expressed their disappointment over Govinda’s exit in the sequel , Bhagam Bhag 2 urging the makers not to proceed without him.  

The filming of Bhagam Bhag 2 is set to begin next month. Capitalizing on the nostalgic feeling , the audience are looking forward to the second installment of one of the cult comedies of the Hindi cinema.
