Chashme Baddoor 2 Will Star Sunny Singh In The Lead

The Sajid Samji directed untitled project finally has a name and its Chashme Baddoor 2. The rom-com will be inspired by the David Dhawan directed 2013 comedy movie Chashme Baddoor 2. The Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actor Sunny Singh has been roped in to play the lead while Fatima Sana Shaikh is in talks to play the female lead.

 

Director Sajid Samji has previously co-directed multi-starrer Housefull 3 as well as Akshay Kumar starrer Entertainment with brother Farhad and ‘Chashme Baddoor’ will mark his debut as a solo director. Sunny gained popularity after the success of his last movie De De Pyaar De and the makers were keen on getting him on board. The movie is expected to go on floors by end of this year.
