Darshan Kumar joins the cast of Toofan

Known to play versatile roles in his movies like Mary Kom, Sarbjit, NH10 and Baaghi 2, actor Darshan Kumar will now be seen in the upcoming Bollywood film Toofan. The film stars Farhan Akhtar in the lead, playing a boxer. Darshan will be seen playing a negative role and will be portraying the character of a Maharashtrian boxer named Dharmesh Patil.

 

The team of Toofan has set up a boxing facility near Western Express Highway in Mumbai. Darshan Kumar   has also been watching Mike Tyson’s videos as part of the prep for the movie. The film has already gone on floors and is directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. The film is produced by Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra.
